Omaha, NE – The Latino Center of the Midlands (LCM) will host its sixth annual Women’s Health Conference, “Un Día Para Ti, Mujer,” sponsored by Veridian Credit Union, on Saturday, April 25, 2026, at the Salvation Kroc Center (2825 Y St.).
This empowering event, entirely in Spanish, focuses on health and well-being, celebrating women by creating a space that fosters meaningful relationships, genuine connection, and the importance of taking time for oneself.
The conference will bring together inspiring speakers, trusted professionals and community members for a day centered on holistic well-being. The event will also feature keynote speaker Selene Espinoza, Market Workforce Development Manager at CommonSpirit Health, who will share powerful reflections designed to inspire and uplift participants.
Attendees will gain valuable insights into building healthy relationships and breaking down barriers through a session led by Claudia Herrera, Licensed Therapist (LICSW, PLADC) with AM Counseling. Additional sessions include a focus on the cornerstones of well-being with Dr. Gerson Manríquez, gynecologist with Methodist Health System, as well as financial empowerment strategies presented by Melina Arroyo, Mortgage Loan Originator at Veridian Credit Union.
Throughout the day, attendees will engage in meaningful conversations, access helpful resources and connect with a supportive community of women.
“Un Día Para Ti, Mujer is more than a conference — it’s a space where women can pause, connect, and invest in their well-being,” said Viridiana Almanza, Latino Center of the Midlands Director of Programming. “We are proud to offer this event as part of our commitment to building healthier, stronger communities.”

Attendees take part in a session during a past Un Día Para Ti, Mujer conference focused on women’s health and well-being.
