Omaha, NE – Omaha families can step into a fairytale kingdom this weekend as the Omaha Children’s Museum hosts its Fairytale Ball from Friday, July 24, through Sunday, July 26.
The event will take place during regular museum hours, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day, and features a full schedule of hands-on activities inspired by classic fairytale stories and characters.
All Fairytale Ball activities are included with general museum admission or an Omaha Children’s Museum membership.
Families can meet fairytale characters throughout the weekend
Children will have opportunities to meet and take photos with popular fairytale royalty, including Aladdin, Cinderella, Ariel and Eric, Belle and other beloved characters.
Families are also invited to wear costumes inspired by their favorite fairytale characters during the celebration.
Additional activities include:
- Royal Armory experiences
- Wish-making at Genie’s Lamp
- Live science demonstrations
- Fairytale performances on Center Stage
- Potion-making activities inside the STEAM Cave
- Interactive family activities throughout the museum
The event runs during regular museum hours
The Fairytale Ball will be held Friday through Sunday from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. at the Omaha Children’s Museum.
The museum, founded in 1976, offers interactive exhibits, workshops, educational programs and special events designed for children and families throughout the year.
