LiveWell DressWell connects job seekers with free professional clothing

The event will also give attendees a chance to learn about resources from LiveWell DressWell, an Omaha nonprofit that provides free professional clothing to people facing financial hardship.

The organization collects suits, dresses, shoes, accessories and other work-appropriate clothing for people preparing for interviews or starting new jobs.

LiveWell DressWell also serves veterans, students and other job seekers who need professional attire for employment opportunities.

Omaha has seen recent changes in its local job market

The Nebraska Department of Labor also has additional hiring events scheduled throughout September in communities including Kearney, North Platte, Lincoln, Grand Island and Bellevue.
