LINCOLN, Nebraska — Travelers have through Wednesday, Sept. 30, to visit the 70 destinations participating in the 2026 Nebraska Passport and collect stamps toward prizes.
The deadline for visiting participating businesses and attractions is different from the mailing deadline for paper entries. Travelers using a physical booklet have until Wednesday, Oct. 7, to get their prize entry postmarked. Digital stamps are recorded automatically and do not require a final submission.

Travelers can use a booklet, the app or both
Participants may collect stamps with a physical Nebraska Passport booklet, the free Nebraska Passport 2026 mobile app or a combination of both methods.
The app uses the phone’s location services to confirm that a traveler is at a participating destination. Digital stamps can be collected without cellular service and remain available when a business is closed, as long as the traveler is physically at the location.
Anyone who used the app in 2025 needs a new account for the 2026 season because the previous account information did not carry over. More than one participant can use the same phone by creating separate accounts and logging in and out.
Each participant needs an individual app account or paper prize entry. Members of the same household may earn separate prizes, but one person cannot collect stamps for someone who is not present.
Paper prize entries must be postmarked by Oct. 7
Travelers using the printed booklet collect two stamps at each destination: one beside the stop’s name in the booklet and another on the prize entry sheet stored in the back pocket.

The envelope must be postmarked by Oct. 7. Participants who combined paper and digital stamps may mail the paper entry so those visits can be added to their digital total.
App-only participants do not need to mail anything. Their stamps are credited automatically under the name used to create the account. The mailing address and other account details need to be accurate for prize delivery.
Prize levels begin at 10 completed stops
The Nebraska Passport lists four reward levels based on the number of participating destinations visited:

Participants must be at least 19 years old by Oct. 1, 2026, to receive Nebraska Lottery vouchers. A parent or guardian cannot claim the vouchers for a child.
Young travelers who complete all 70 stops will instead receive a one-year subscription to the Nebraska Game and Parks Commission’s Trail Tales magazine.
One stamp qualifies participants for statewide drawings
The guaranteed stamp-level rewards are separate from several drawings planned after the season.
Anyone who records at least one stamp qualifies for drawings that include $300 in Nebraska Lottery scratch tickets, a two-night cabin stay at a participating Nebraska Game and Parks property and donated prizes from current and former Passport destinations.
Travelers who complete all 70 stops qualify for additional drawings, including an Omaha Steaks monthly steak box, one Runza combo meal each week for a year and two-night cabin packages at select state properties.
Drawing winners will be selected and notified in November 2026. Visit Nebraska advises participants to allow up to 12 weeks after the season ends for delivery of stamp-level prizes.
Closed stops allow a digital stamp or location selfie
Some Passport destinations are small businesses that may change their hours during the season. Travelers arriving outside business hours can use the mobile app to collect a digital stamp while at the location.
Participants without the app may take a photograph of themselves in front of the destination. A group photograph can provide credit to everyone pictured.
Printed photographs can be mailed with the paper prize entry and marked as a selfie. Travelers may also submit them through the program’s online selfie form. Businesses cannot stamp booklets for people who were not physically present.
Omaha, Lincoln and Grand Island offer late-season route options
The 2026 destinations include museums, restaurants, bakeries, retailers, historical sites and outdoor attractions across the state.
Omaha’s stops include Exist Green, Fat Brain Toys and the North Omaha Visitors Center & Martha’s Coffee Shop. Lincoln participants can visit destinations such as High Society Cheesecake, while Beverly Cake Shop is among the Grand Island stops.
Nebraska City is represented by Self Expressions, an art gallery and creative studio at 819 Central Ave. Travelers visiting the city during the final days of the program can also use Hola Nebraska’s guide to the 2026 AppleJack Festival schedule, parade and prices.

Passport stamps may be collected through Sept. 30. Paper prize entries must be postmarked by Oct. 7, while participants with only digital stamps do not need to complete another submission.
