Some activities will change between the two festival days.

On Saturday, Oct. 10, visitors can play a nine-hole mini golf course during festival hours.

Prize bingo will be available throughout the day on both Saturday and Sunday.

Artists will carve giant pumpkins and build a 12-foot hay sculpture

Matt Seeley, a Team Nebraska Snow Sculpting champion, will return to carve giant pumpkins during the festival and share pumpkin-carving techniques with visitors.

Before the event, Seeley and Team Mexico Snow Sculpting artist Carlos Miguel Ramirez Pereyra will transform a dozen colorful hay bales into a sculpture about 12 feet tall.

The piece, titled Harvest of Imagination, will feature a scarecrow on a moon and remain on display during the festival for photos.

Food trucks will sell food both days

Admission and the activities announced by Heartwood are free, but food is not included.

Local food trucks will sell seasonal food and other options throughout the weekend.

Heartwood Park is part of Heartwood Preserve, which includes green space, trails and gathering areas in west Omaha.
