GRAND ISLAND, Nebraska — Husker Harvest Days 2026 begins Tuesday, Sept. 15, with three days of agricultural exhibits, machinery demonstrations and activities for producers in the Grand Island area.
The event runs Tuesday through Thursday, Sept. 15–17, from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. each day.
Adults can receive free admission for all three days by completing registration. Those who choose not to register will pay $25 at the gate.
Visitor parking is also free.
Adults get free admission to Husker Harvest Days 2026 with registration
Adults who complete registration receive free admission for all three days of Husker Harvest Days.
Registration can be completed online or at the event. Adults who choose not to register will pay $25 at the gate by cash or card.
Youth ages 13 to 17 pay $10.
Visitors in that age group can also receive free admission by donating five nonperishable food items as part of a Heartland United Way food drive.
Children age 12 and younger are admitted free.

Husker Harvest Days will run from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. for three days
Hours are the same each day:
- Tuesday, Sept. 15: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Wednesday, Sept. 16: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
- Thursday, Sept. 17: 9 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Husker Harvest Days is promoted as a Grand Island event, while the permanent show site uses the address 9000 W. Husker Highway, Wood River, NE 68883.
That address can be used in navigation apps to reach the grounds.
Parking will be free next to the show site
Husker Harvest Days does not charge for general parking.
Visitor lots are located next to the grounds and use color-coded markers and row numbers to help drivers identify where they parked.
Accessible parking will also be available near entrances in the west and south lots. Vehicles using those spaces must display the appropriate identification.
School and charter buses will park on the southwest side of the grounds near Parking Gate E.
Complimentary golf cart transportation will also be available throughout the grounds and parking areas, with pickup points at five information stations.
RV and camper parking opens Monday
Free RV and camper parking will be available east of the show grounds.
That area opens at noon Monday, Sept. 14, one day before Husker Harvest Days begins.
The parking area does not include hookups or other RV services.
Husker Harvest Days 2026 adds new agricultural demonstrations
The 2026 schedule includes field machinery demonstrations and activities focused on crops, livestock and agricultural technology.
New demonstrations this year include corn stover baling equipment, tub grinders and feed mixers.
The field demonstration program includes 12 categories, including grain harvesting, planting and tillage, manure management, hay equipment, self-propelled sprayers, autonomous machinery, grain storage and feed mixing.
The HHD Drone Zone will return with demonstrations of drones used for agricultural applications.
The event will also debut the Husker Harvest Ag Tech Pavilion, a space focused on emerging agricultural technology developed with participation from Farm Progress, The Combine and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln.
BEEF Showcase will feature livestock demonstrations and educational sessions
Livestock producers will find exhibits, cattle-handling demonstrations and educational sessions at the BEEF Showcase.
Programming includes chute demonstrations, livestock production technology and Stockmanship and Stewardship sessions.
Husker Harvest Days will also offer educational programming in the Hospitality Tent.
On Wednesday, Sept. 16, Women in the Field will hold a session from 1 to 2 p.m. recognizing women producers and professionals in agriculture.
Pets are not allowed and public Wi-Fi will not be available
Pets are not allowed inside the show grounds. Service animals are permitted and must remain on a leash.
Husker Harvest Days also does not provide public Wi-Fi.
Food stands will be operated in part by local school groups, including athletic programs and FFA chapters, along with other vendors on the grounds.
The official “2026 Husker Harvest Days” app includes event information, exhibitor listings and an interactive map.
Grand Island recently hosted another of the region’s largest annual events: the 2026 Nebraska State Fair, which ended Sept. 7.
