Mexican young women and young women of Mexican descent, ages 18 to 25, can register to join the Official Mexican Color Guard in Omaha. Registration will remain open through June 22, 2026.
The call is open to young women who are proud of their Mexican roots and want to take part in civic activities, official events and community representation.
Those interested must send their name, age and contact information through Facebook Messenger to Mexican Cultural Center of the Heartland.
Young women ages 18 to 25 can participate
The Official Mexican Color Guard is looking for participants ages 18 to 25 who are Mexican or of Mexican descent.
Participants should be committed to their culture and community, with an interest in learning and serving.
The group is intended for young women who want to represent Mexico with honor and pride in official and community activities.
Civic training, color guard practice and cultural leadership
Young women who join the Official Mexican Color Guard will receive civic and color guard training.
Participants will also take part in official events, develop leadership skills and strengthen their cultural identity and pride.
The group focuses on discipline, community service and the representation of Mexican roots.
